Library ComiXology’s 100,000+ strong comics, graphic novels & manga library includes: - Marvel Comics: The Avengers, Ms. Edit 2: Fixed all the issues I had with it awhile ago. Functions perfectly now! Edit: Didn't think it could get worse, but now I can't download books on my Galaxy S6.

I even tried reinstalling. ORIGINAL: When Amaxon initially bought it I was unaffected unlike the iOS people, but then you made me merge my Comixology and Amazon account and royally screwed up the system. Now I'm constantly being signed out.

In the old days I logged in once on a device and I was good indefinitely. Now I'm prompted to sign in on my tablet when I have no Wifi!! I have used this application for years because I enjoy comics and supporting artists is important to me. It seems ridiculous to me that after years of use they have still not implemented official SD card support.

Support staff has even lied about the SD card support in the past. I've been told in no uncertain terms that they were working on implementing this feature. Please do not be taken in by those lies. They will most likely never Implement SD card support. Update: it's made some strides but it still has a long way to go.

I consider this application to still be a pretty weak source of manga. Their license acquisition has a long way to improve before it's adequate. Was excited to use Comixology on my new Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5. Put in a 128GB SD card to hold my purchased comic collection since the tablet has only 16GB internal storage. It turns out Comixology does not support external storage so I am limited to what can be carried on my device to read. Comic selection and reading is great but no full stars until this glaring SD card issue is rectified.

Oddly enough SD card support seems to be one of the most requested options Comixology need to implement. Fast-forward to 3 years later and yes, finally. SD card support! Update: knocking one star off for the extremely slow download speed. BECAUSE YOU DEMANDED IT!!!! At last I can finally download to my SD card in my Aquaris M10 tablet and no longer have to constantly delete books that I've read so I can download another to my meagre 16GB internal storage! For me this is a the best upgrade that Comixology could have provided as before I pretty much had to strip my tablet of apps and solely use it for reading comics on due to the space issue and the option of saving comics to an SD card not being available before.

This is truly the best early Christmas present I've had this year! (Yes, I agree with everyone who has said that downloads can be slow but I'm guessing because these are graphic heavy files they are going to be big and I'd rather have good quality crisp images than smaller and more inferior ones.

So for me it's an annoyance worth putting up with.). Overall, it is an excellent app. But after the most recent update, it no longer writes to the internal storage on my Barnes & Noble Nook HD+ running Cyanogen Mod for an OS. Although that device is older, its glorious hi-res 9.8 inch screen is perfect for reading comics. I exchanged several emails with Comixology support, and they were very responsive and polite, but ultimately were not able to solve the problem. I have uninstalled the newest update and re-installed an older version in order to be able to continue running the Comixology Comics app on my Nook HD+.

If the problem can ever be solved, I will give the app 5 stars instead of 3. It is now my main source for comics, was getting worried about piling up books in my library just to box them in a couple of months when I inevitably move houses again. Now I don't have to worry about that as I have everything on my tablet.

Download is still a bit slow and sometimes I have to restart the download all together which can be a bit annoying. Would be nifty if the search feature would be more inclusive as right now it only works for titles or creators, would be nice if it gave you genres, themes or styles of animation in the search bar. Other than that I recommend it 'bigly', especially for the constant sales and extensive content (My wish list is CRAZY at the moment). Good for purchasing from the Comixology store, and I bought it to read my entire collection. Really useful now that my inventory can be stored on multiple SD cards that I can swap in and out.

I used to hold less than 3Gb of comics on my tablet, which I specifically bought because (a) it was the same size as a comic book page and (b) took SD cards up to 128 Gb, so about two dozen hold the bulk of my collection. The wonderful folks at Comixology have listened to us and now offer the choice 'Save files on Device or on SD card?'
